242
Walls of moving glass.
Demonstration assembly with semantic components — final Orluti extrusion geometry replaces this model via the documented GLB pipeline. Values marked ‡ await test-report confirmation.
Overview
Slim 242 multiplies the sliding door: three or more parallel tracks let a whole elevation stack aside, with linked panels that move together in sequence. Interlocks and brush seals are engineered as a continuous water-management system, so scale doesn't compromise weather performance.
Whole elevations open
Three or more tracks stack an entire glass wall aside.
Linked panels
Heavy-duty multi-door linkage moves the set in one pull.
Continuous water management
Seamless waterproofing engineered across every interlock.
Configurations
O = fixed panel · X = sliding panel, read from exterior. Pocketing versions conceal panels fully within the wall.
Three panels stack to one side.
A fixed panel anchors one end of the moving wall.
The stacked set disappears into the wall cavity.
Hardware
- Multi-door linkage
Sequenced connectors move following panels automatically.

Glazing
- Double insulated glazing
1" insulated glazing units with warm-edge spacers and argon fill. Low-E coatings selected per orientation and climate. [CONFIRM IGU MAKEUP]
- Triple glazing
Triple-pane units for cold climates and passive-grade targets. [CONFIRM AVAILABILITY PER SYSTEM]
- Acoustic laminated
Acoustic PVB interlayers reduce sound transmission by up to 45 dB in tested configurations.
- Laminated / impact
Laminated safety glass for overhead, railing, and impact-rated applications. [CONFIRM IMPACT RATINGS]
